Alesie Group of Companies has increased its market share by opening offices in the United States. Florida Grains, Inc. serves not only as the Head office for the group but also as the main Sales office for the US and Latin American Market. Florida Grains' is operating its local and national package rice distribution in addition to our trading and bulk loading market out of the US.

Holland, The Netherlands

Although countries such as Spain and Italy are rice-producing countries, in general there is a deficit in production especially of Indica (long grain) Rice. Therefore, the E.U. is importing rice mainly from our plants and partners in the USA, Guyana, Suriname, Thailand and India.

The major buyers are EU rice millers who process and mill the raw material into the finished product. Alesie Food Holland is also acting as the main office for all of the packaged goods. The Alesie Group mainly exports Cargo and Broken Rice from Guyana and Surinam to countries such as Holland, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal. We can supply rice directly from the source at competitive prices both in bulk and containerized packaged shipments.

Thailand, ASIA

Our Partnership with Surin Tip, Co., Ltd, in Thailand has enabled Alesie to continue its time honor tradition of quality, by providing the purest and natural Thai Hom Mali Rice. The Hom Mali rice is grown and hand planted by families whose tradition for generations has been the lands rice production. Alesie will continue to source supply not just Hom Mali Rice but also other varieties such as white rice and parboiled rice from our partnership mills in Thailand.

India & Pakistan.

These two markets are the source suppliers for the Alesie Basmati Rice. As experienced traders, the group has built and still maintains reliable partners in the region. Alesie offers the finest Basmati rice available in the Market today, using our own brand name and grown under our quality standards.

Guyana, S.A.

Guyana is typically the third largest rice exporting country in South America. In 2001, Guyana is projected to export 275,000 tons of rice, down 25,000 from a year earlier. The area and production has expanded substantially from the early 1990's through 1997/98. The EU and the Caricom Countries are the primary markets for Guyana's rice as well as the United States and Central America with our packaged line products. Our privately owned and operated mills offer a state of the art milling technology developed by the Alesie Group engineers to continue our tradition as Market Innovators.

Surinam, S.A.

Alesie Surinam is another state of the art milling facility, which also shares the same technology as its neighboring Guyana plants. From Surinam, Alesie is able to source supply our Caribbean, European and American market with the top quality milled and cargo rice that is produced by the region. Our farmers and partners in the region ensure a constant year round supply of rice for the global market.

Alesie Group under the US office (Florida Grains) is currently developing strategic partnerships with already established millers in the region as well as developing the retail local market. The group foresees a strong market share in Central America as well as in Mexico by the beginning of the second quarter. With already substantial trading knowledge and expertise in the Latin American Market the Alesie Group will source supply the bulk trading as well as the retail Market.

Rice is one of the major staples within the Caribbean. White Rice and in several other countries Parboiled Rice, is a major part of the daily meal of our consumers. The Caribbean market is important for rice producing countries such as Surinam and Guyana as most are members of a common wealth in the Caricom market. The Alesie Group of Companies has a network of rice mills and sales offices in this region to be able to supply our global customers with different varieties of rice. Trinidad & Tobago W.I.

Early in 1997, we established operations in Trinidad in order to mill and distribute mainly parboiled rice and by-products of rice. The distribution was set up to service the Trinidad and Tobago markets. Our brand name Alesie is well known throughout the islands. Trinidad Commodities Ltd. provides an excellent service in local distribution and we supply a premium product. The operations in Trinidad are also servicing other exports to various islands and worldwide markets.

JAMAICA, I.W.

The Alesie group has chosen to have operations in Jamaica, mainly for its geographical position and consumer needs. With well-established brand names such as Lambada and The Alesie brand, we play a dominant role in this market. Our Sales office in Jamaica is equipped to source and supply the local and neighboring islands with all rice products.

Grenada, W.I.

Grenada Rice Mills Ltd. is primarily serving the Island of Grenada; this rice mill facility also serves the lower parts of the Caribbean due to its strategic location.

St. KITTS, W.I.

St. Kitts Rice Mills Ltd. is situated on the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis; this rice mill serves the upper parts of the Caribbean. This mill mainly services the local distribution and retail market.

Curacao, Antilles

Alesie Curacao processes rice produced in Guyana and Surinam for further distribution in the European Union and it is equipped with its own loading and discharging facilities in the harbor of Curacao.
